About Dr Dani
My path to menopause care is both professional and deeply personal. I experienced premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) before I turned 40 and I know first-hand how it feels to search for answers and how much difference timely menopause care can make.
I am a GMC-registered physician with a licence to practise and a consultant in pharmaceutical medicine with 25 years experience as a clinical research physician. I have worked as an investigator across different therapy areas, including menopause clinical trials, caring for participants in studies of estetrol, fezolinetant and oestradiol.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatments from the University of Reading and worked for seven years as a CBT therapist in the NHS.
In my experience menopause care works best when mind and body are considered together. This whole-person approach is central to how I practise and to the ethos of The Open Practice, where I consult.
I am a member of the British Menopause Society ( BMS), have completed the BMS Principles and Practice of Menopause Care Course and hold the BMS Management of the Menopause Certificate.
My goal is to help you feel heard, informed and in control of your health.
